It has been said there was something off about that family.  For generations there were whispered tales of dark rituals in the woods, of people going missing, of those who married into that family and then mysteriously disappearing immediately after the wedding.

 

It was also said that at a set time in the future one would be born of air and fire.  On who would be divine in nature, angelic of soul.  One who karma herself would send to put things right.  This one would be different from the rest and though they would all siphon off the energy of the unknown angel in their midst, rendering her barely alive, she was gifted with the strongest of hearts and the love of one divinely sent to love and protect her.  They had all heard the tales and since it had not yet come to pass, the family decided it was just an old wives’ tale.

 

This is the family into which Maggie was born.
